Fourth seeds Eric Butorac and Scott Lipsky reached the Moselle Open semi-finals on Thursday in Metz with a 7-6(4), 7-6(3) victory over Jonathan Marray and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi.

The Americans saved all nine break points they faced to clinch victory in one hour and 34 minutes. They are bidding to reach their second ATP World Tour final of the season after a runner-up showing in Winston-Salem (l. to Inglot/Lindstedt) and will face either US Open champions Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut or Chris Guccione and Andre Sa.

Third seeds Raven Klaasen and Rajeev Ram also reached the final four of this ATP World Tour 250 indoor hard-court tournament, dismissing Marcus Daniell and Marcelo Demoliner 6-4, 6-2 in 69 minutes.
