China Open (Beijing, China)

Novak Djokovic and his brothers Marko Djokovic and Djordje Djokovic took advantage of a day off from competition to visit the Mutianyu portion of the Great Wall of China, in a trip set up by the China Open Organising Committee.

“It’s my second time here,” said Novak. “The first time was after the 2010 final. It was great to see one of the world wonders. This time we went to the section where we could go up by ski lift and come back via toboggan slide, which was the most entertaining part.

“It’s stunning. We were talking about our admiration for the Chinese people and how they were able to create this over 2000 years ago. Sharing this experience with my brothers made it even nicer.” He added.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga was dressed to the nines at the China Open Players’ Party. Accompanied by girlfriend Noura El Shwekh, the Frenchman joined top seed Novak Djokovic, 2005 champion Rafael Nadal and other ATP World Tour stars at the tournament’s official reception. View Beijing Gallery
